These Terms of Service govern your use of the SteadyHandyman website (steadyhandyman.com) and any services provided by SteadyHandyman, owned and operated by Matt in Austin, Texas.
SteadyHandyman provides handyman and home improvement services to residential and commercial customers in Austin, TX and the surrounding area (within approximately 20 miles). The scope of each project is agreed upon in writing (via text, email, or written estimate) before work begins.
All estimates are provided free of charge and are based on the project scope discussed at the time of the estimate. Prices are project-based (not hourly). Final pricing is confirmed in writing before work begins. If unforeseen conditions require additional work beyond the original scope, Matt will contact you before proceeding and provide a change order for your approval.
Payment is due upon project completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept Cash, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, and major credit and debit cards. For larger projects, a deposit may be required prior to the start of work.
Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Last-minute cancellations may result in a cancellation fee to cover materials purchased and time reserved.
SteadyHandyman warrants all labor for 30 days from the date of completion. If a defect in workmanship is identified within this period, we will return to address it at no additional charge. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, or normal wear and tear, and does not apply to materials or products supplied by the customer.
SteadyHandyman carries general liability insurance with $1,000,000 in coverage through ERGO | NEXT Insurance. Our liability for any claim arising from services rendered is limited to the amount paid for those services. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions not disclosed at the time of the estimate.
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area, disclose any known hazards or pre-existing conditions, and ensure the work area is free of valuables and fragile items. You are responsible for obtaining any permits required for work on your property.
SteadyHandyman may photograph completed work for quality documentation and portfolio purposes. Photos may be used on our website or social media profiles. If you prefer that your project not be photographed, please inform us before work begins.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Travis County, Texas.
